- You can edit the database by adding or removing the speed cameras.

- Tapping the "HUD" icon mirrors all the text, so if you position the iPhone horizontally under your car's windscreen you can see perfectly readable half-transparent reflection of the picture displayed. We love this mode! We found it much more convenient compared to traditional car dashboards. 
Note: this mode works pretty well at night time and twilight, but on direct sunlight the screen brightness can be insufficient.

- You can create and save the driving routes (Google Directions service is used - the same as for the standard Map application) to follow them later. Application will display your current position on the route and display the route on the map. 
Every route is saved in the application database, so you don't need to re-create it every time application starts up.
You can email the driving instructions for the saved route to any email address.

- aSpeedCam Scanner can keep track on 4 speed limits, giving a warning (sound and visual) each time you crossing it. Normally, it's legal speed limits within cities, local roads and high-speed motorways. "Never exceed speed" is the speed you should not exceed under any conditions. For example, it can be a technical limit of your vehicle or the point where government can arrest your driving license.

- You can quickly take a photo of what's going on the road. Photo will be automatically saved into the Photos Album. The speedometer image, map and a some of other useful information will be placed over your photo.
- OpenStreet and Google maps support;
- You can skip/rewind/play/pause your music items in your current iPod playlist.
- Tap the speed indicator to switch into speed fullscreen mode.
- You can choose between 5 different color themes.
- Google maps with monochrome and inverted mode
- Landscape and portrait screen modes.
- Speed history log chart.
- Several sound options.
- "Records" screen, where you can see your maximum reached speed (during the current trip or all of your trips), maximum altitude and maximum distance from start.

- You can specify different measurement units, display color scheme, log type, sounds and more.

- Location Info (longitude and latitude, GPS measurement precision) and some more data is available on separate screen.

This app allows you to browse street level map of Washington DC when you are traveling. You don't need to have internet connection for this to work as the map is stored on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Ideal for saving roaming charges or having to find the local wifi to access the built-in map application.

You can pinch to zoom in and out of the map just like you can with the built-in map application.

We are currently building and field testing support for GPS and this will be released as a free update soon. Stay tuned.

The globe is assumed to be a sphere with the radius of 6,371,007.1810m (mean radius of GRS80 ellipsoid).
The precision of direction and distance is dependent on precision of location service and electronic compass installed in device, and it may vary under certain conditions.
If there are places with the same name and same position, only one of them will be saved.

Diese App hat mir diesen Sommer beim Wandern des Westweg im Schwarzwald wertvolle Dienste geleistet. Ich habe wichtige Wegpunkte vor der Wanderung abgespeichert.

Der Heimweg Finder macht GPS Navigation ganz einfach!

Sie kennen das:

Sie machen einen Spaziergang oder eine Wanderung und stellen Ihr Auto ab. Nach einer erholsamen Stunde in der Natur fragen Sie sich: Wo steht eigentlich mein Auto?
Kein Problem, denn Sie haben die Heimweg Finder App.
Ein Pfeil zeigt ihnen immer die richtige Richtung (Luftlinie) und Entfernung. Optional können sie eine Kartenansicht dazuschalten.

Anwendungsfälle:
✿ Finden Sie Ihr Ziel auf Wanderungen
✿ Finden Sie ihr geparktes Auto (z.B. auf einem riesigen Messeparkplatz)
✿ Benutzen Sie die App für Ihr Mountainbike Tour (Geschwindigkeits- und Höhenanzeige)
✿ Finden Sie den Rückweg zum Hotel im Urlaub
✿ Finden Sie jedes Ziel (auch ohne Karte)
✿ Lassen Sie sich die Entfernung zu jedem gewünschten Ziel anzeigen
✿ Finden Sie auch nach ein paar Bier zuviel den Heimweg :)
✿ Benutzen Sie die App einfach um sich Orte zu merken: Den Traumstrand im Urlaub, einen Ankerplatz beim Segeln, ...
✿ Ermitteln Sie ihre aktuelle Geschwindigkeit
✿ Nutzen sie die Fähigkeiten Ihres iPhones - enormer Mehrwert zum kleinen Preis
✿ Bereiten Sie Ihre Wanderung vor indem Sie zuvor Wegpunkte abspeichern und somit die jeweiligen Ziele anpeilen können.
