1. würde es Sinn machen, da die HDD im Betrieb bis zu 55 Grad warm wird, was natürlich nicht so toll ist ( SMART Tools versagen hier alle !)

Seit 3 Tagen lasse ich mein System von meiner Externen Firewire 800 HDD booten und laufen. Die Interne HDD habe ich formatiert und ausgeworfen. Ich muss sagen. Super. So hört man nur den Lüfter, wenn er dann mal ran muss. Interessant ist, dass die HDD obwohl diese nicht läuft zwischen 44 und 50 warm wird. Das System um die Festplatte scheint also so schlecht gekühlt zu werden, dass diese wirklich einen Hitzeschaden bekommen könnte. Ich bin gespannt und werde mir auf jedenfalls noch Apple Care zulegen. Das ist mir bei diesem Gerät einfach zu gefährlich.

Der Bildschirm von der Helligkeit, Detailschärfe und Brillanz ist einfach umwerfend. Das war ein Grund mit das Gerät zu kaufen. Wenn jemand also wirklich Platz haben will, dann sollte er sich das Gerät ansehen.

The distance between him and the building site wasn’t too big so he could hear the laughter and cheerful voices of working slaves. He wasn’t disturbed about this, but about something that had begun well before … .

Now, we can say, the Pharaoh has a serious problem with the slaves. They’re looking upon the building site as a children’s playground. The game lies in dropping raw materials from the scaffolding and running away. The Pharaoh can’t chase after the slaves, he must catch these falling hoards to finish the building of the pyramid.

It was impossible, however, to avoid touching on certain points of ethnology and philology, which can be securely handled only by those who have made these sciences the object of special study. Da mein MacBookPro 5,1 seit ca. 1 Jahre Probleme mit dem Superdrive hat habe ich mir vor einer Woche einen Termin in der Genius Bar in Hamburg geben lassen. Da wir einen KurzUrlaub in Husum verbringen haben wir das eine mit den anderen verbunden. Also kurz in Hamburg einen Boxenstopp eingelegt. Das iPhone hat uns mit Navigon den Weg gezeigt, unser neuer GTI hat keine Navi mehr bekommen.

Der AppleStore befindet sich ja in einer etwas besseren Wohngegend. War mir ja eigentlich fast klar. Die Mall oder besser das Alstertal Einkaufszentrum ist sehr gut sortiert und man kann nebenbei noch eine Menge Geld für nette Klamotten ausgeben. Nun aber weiter zum eigentlich Besuch…

Wir waren 30 Minuten zu früh da und musste uns noch ein wenig gedulden, da die Genius Mitarbeiter noch nicht da waren.  Die ersten Termine gibt es halt erst ab 13:00 Uhr. Die Genius Bar war aber ab 14 Uhr gut besucht.

13:00 Uhr wir ran an die Genius Bar… Die Sache lief einfach kurz und knapp per Du. Leider hat der Genius Mitarbeiter (Nils? ) meine Nachricht die ich beim Online Termin hinterlassen habe nicht gelesen bzw. erst als ich vor ihm Stand. Das war natürlich Schade… aber es lief doch gut für mich.

Normal hat der AppleStore keine Ersatzteile vor Ort, diese werden nachdem der Hardware Fehler des Kunden anerkannt wurde erst bestellt und der Kunde muss dann noch einmal vorstellig werden. Kann aber bei kleinen Reparaturen warten. Nachdem Nils festgestellt hatte, dass kein AppleStore oder Reseller in meiner näheren Umgebung zum meinem Wohnort zu finden ist und die Sache für mich wirklich nicht gut aussieht, hat er in seinem Rechner etwas gesucht und mich gebeten kurz zu warten… da kam er mit einer grossen braunen Kiste wo ein kleines Superdrive drin sein sollte. Ich möge mich bitte 45 Minuten gedulden, dann kann ich das Gerät wieder mitnehmen. Genial für mich…

Also kurz etwas Essen gegangen, was man nebenbei in Alstertal Einkaufszentrum wirklich gut kann. Wieder zum Store und … Gerät fertig. CD lag im Gerät und ich konnte das Brennen selbst testen. Was ich aber aufgrund meiner wartenden Familie nicht getan habe.

Also Hut ab… Apple hat mich doch wieder richtig motiviert. Allein das Papier für die Quittung war ja mehr Pappe als Papier. Ja, ich weiss Umweltschutz

Aufgrund meines Apple Care Vertrags war der Wechsel natürlich kostenlos.

Nebei ist mir aufgefallen, dass überhaupt kein AppleDisplay zu sehen war. Ein 30 Zoll konnte man an einem einzelnen MacPro mit 8 Cores begutachten. Wirklich viele Books haben die vor Ort gehabt. Genial hat mir ein 17″ mit 1920×1200 gefallen. Eine geniale Bildschirmauflösung für die Größe. Ich möchte noch eimmer ein MBP mit 15″ mit 1600×1200 haben oder vielleicht auch ein 13″ mit 1440 x 900.

Erster Kritikpunkt :
Es wird lediglich das Netzteil mitgeliefert. Ein Ethernet Kabel fehlt gänzlich. So dass man sich auf jeden fall ein Kabel besorgen muss, da DSL Modems im allgemeinen nicht mit einem solchen Kabel ausgeliefert werden. Aber wahrscheinlich soll man alles nur ohne Kabel erledigen

Wer noch eine FritzBox7270 besitzt und diese abgeben möchte, kann sich bei mir melden

Nach der Konfiguration des WLAN Netzes im Browser ( wird auf der Eye-Fi Webseite direkt konfiguriert ) kann man ein Foto oder Film mit der Digitalen Kamera sofort auf den konfigurierten Rechner hochschicken lassen. Es läuft ein kleines Tool in der Statusleiste zum verarbeiten der Bilder für iPhoto. An der Kamera sieht man nichts. Die Karte verhält sich wie eine normale SD Karte. Man sollte die Kamera nach dem letzten Foto nicht gleich abschalten, da sonst das letzte Bild nicht mehr hochgeladen werden kann.
Wir konnten mit Filmen in den Aufösungen 1280×720 und 320×240 Filmen sowie einer Canon S200ix und Canon 5D mit normalen JPEGs testen. Sämtliche Bilder die wir im Haus geschossen haben waren sofort in iPhoto importiert. Man muss lediglich einmal das iPhoto Fenster aktualisieren, damit die Datenbank sauber erstellt wird, sonst erscheinen die Bilder nicht. Aber das passiert von allein, wenn man sich wieder an seinen Rechner setzt.
Also ich würde die Karte allen empfehlen, die viel zu Haus oder im Garten fotografieren. Das anschliessen an den Rechner entfällt.

Mit der 4 GB Variante kann man sogar auf 20 Online Dienste automatisch von einem Hotspot oder eigenen WLAN die Bilder / Filme hochladen.

Es gibt im Apple Store 3 verschiedene Variationen. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass die kleine 2 GB Version zwar Geotagging (per WLAN) macht aber keine Filme hochladen kann.

Es gibt im iTunes Store sogar eine APP für Eye-FI.

Der Prozess systemuiserver ist für die zusätzlichen Anzeigen die nicht von Apple stammen  in der Menübar oben rechts zuständig. Da bei meinem MBP nur iStatMenu mit einigen Anzeigen lief war der Übeltäter schnell gefunden.

Deinstallieren kann man diese Software wenn man in den Paketinhalt des Installers das istat_deinstall Programm startet. Damit werden die Systemdienste deaktiviert.

Mir ist das ganze aufgefallen, dass mir seit 10.6.2. immer weniger Akkuleistung zur Verfügung stand. Unbewusst habe ich zwar immer gesehen, dass ich eine kleine Systemauslastung habe, aber dass es über 20% sind habe ich ignoriert…

Jetzt läuft mein Book wohl wieder einiges länger, da jetzt schon die Systemzeit um 1 Stunde gestiegen ist obwohl ich mein MacBookPro 5,1 nicht weniger belaste als sonst.

Es tut also immer mal wieder gut, seinen Mac etwas zu überprüfen wenn man solche Tools nutzt. Unter 10.5.x war die Systemlast nie so hoch… Da war diese Software wahrscheinlich besser optimiert.
